Orphie 29

We designed the Orphie 29 from a blank sheet of paper, guided by three criteria:

• Functionality: the essential amenities for a summer day’s coastal cruising, carrying between 6 and 10 people.
• 100% electric propulsion: a genuine technical challenge combining speed, range, endurance and battery weight. Target: 8-12 knots over 30 nautical miles, with the ability to reach 17-20 knots in a short burst.
• The determination to design a beautiful object: simple, elegant, efficient and functional, responsive to evolving uses and built from sustainable, environmentally responsible materials.
