With over twenty hulls already sailing, the Catana Ocean Class has established itself as a benchmark in offshore catamarans, designed for long-distance cruising and combining performance, safety and self-sufficiency. This new generation, the Ocean Class², extends that DNA while fundamentally evolving the way the boat is lived aboard.
We approached this project as an exercise in refinement and clarity. Drawing on feedback from sailors and the yard, we sought to simplify how the spaces are used, improve the flow, and make every space more intuitive.
The enlarged aft opening creates a natural continuity between the cockpit and saloon, while the central furniture structures the volumes and guides movement through the boat. The interior gains in clarity, comfort and coherence.
Materials, light and textures contribute to a warmer atmosphere, without compromising the discipline of a lightweight passage-making boat.
With the Ocean Class², design steps back in favour of what matters most: a more fluid, more considered, more enduring experience of life at sea.
